We find in nature the inspiration for our collection. By re-purposing and giving a new meaning to otherwise discarded materials our aim is to help nature fulfill its course of renewal.

Earth-Friendly Practices

The fish leathers we use - tilapia, carp and salmon skins - come either from fish farms dedicated for meat consumption or from the ocean. The leather we use would otherwise be discarded back to nature, mostly on a non-environmentally friendly way.

We handpicked our worldwide fish leather suppliers ensuring not to use skins from any endangered species.  We are committed to local economic development, supporting Canadian suppliers, while carefully selecting foreign organizations committed to sustainability and social inclusion. As an example, we are proud to support the Brazilian “Amor-Peixe” Association, a women-only organization endorsed and trained by WWF Brazil, with the goal of empowering women to provide for their families in one of the most underdeveloped regions of South America.

 Most of the fish skins we use are tanned in a 100% vegetarian process, using a tree-extracted powder as the tanning agent. No chrome or any other metals are utilized in this technique.

Packaging

We also try to use 100% of our natural resources, repurposing the fish leather scraps in our packaging.

Quality

All our metals are either 14K gold, rhodium or rose gold plated. Our collection is 100% plated in local supliers in Toronto.
